Week 7 - There has been a groundswell of interest and support for digital ID lately. As proud modernisers, Labour Together has long supported the concept of a digital ID.

Week 6 - If ‘all politics is local’, then the government is right to put mayors at the heart of the number one mission to deliver economic growth. And a new report out today by Labour Together - Mayoral Matters - finds those living in mayoral areas are supportive of increased devolution. In fact, the further advanced the settlement, the more supportive residents are.

Week 5 - Congratulations to Chris Wormald on his appointment as Cabinet Secretary. As Shadow Health Secretary, I worked with Chris during the Covid-19 pandemic. I am confident he will deliver the "complete rewiring of the British state" that Keir Starmer has tasked him with. But, to succeed, he and the government must take full advantage of AI by placing technology at the heart of public service reform.

Week 4 - Nearly a million young people are not in work, education or training. It’s an appalling statistic and a shameful indictment of Tory economic policy. Labour's approach could not be more different.

Week 3 - If the Tories promise to reverse changes to farmers’ inheritance tax, they need to tell us where the money is coming from.
